For her birthday, Paula’s husband gave her a Letter Necklace with the initials R and P on one side (his and hers) and the letter N on the other for Nelson, their beloved dog, along with a tiny paw print charm.

Nelson passed away last year, and losing him was incredibly tough. He was such a huge part of their lives. The kind of dog who brought joy into everything. He loved a blanket, a carrot, and a beach—and somehow that simple list says everything we need to know about how sweet and full of life he was. So when Paula received this necklace, it felt like he was still with her in a way.

“We used to call Nelson the gift that kept on giving,” Paula shared. “And this feels like he still is.”

She wears it every day. It makes her smile. It’s a reminder of the love they had and still carry with them.
