For Sarah, the Maya Brenner Letter Necklace was always something she quietly hoped for. She first discovered it years ago while living in Los Angeles—long before she became a mother, and long before she knew what her journey to motherhood would look like.

For years, Sarah kept the idea of a letter necklace tucked quietly in the back of her mind—an “R” that hadn’t yet found its person. 

“I always loved the idea of the letter necklace if/when I had kids,” she told us. “For many years I wasn’t sure if kids were in the cards for me, but I always had the necklace in the back of my mind.”

But as life often does, the road took unexpected turns. Parenthood didn’t come easily. There was heartbreak—a pregnancy lost. And there was waiting—a full year of trying again. Still, the dream of becoming a mom never left her, and in early 2024, it returned—with hope.

Sarah found out she was pregnant again. Excitement cautiously returned. And this time, it stayed.

Today, she wears her “R” for Rowan—her beautiful, bright, four-month-old daughter.

What once felt like a maybe has become a forever. One letter. So much love.
