Claudia’s Story, Told in Rose Gold

From: Brescia, Italy.

Claudia never expected a necklace to become part of her life story. But it did.

Ten years ago, while working as an au pair in a quiet town in New Jersey, she noticed her host mom always wore a delicate necklace with her initial. It was subtle and meaningful, and Claudia fell in love with it instantly. On her birthday, they surprised her with one of her own. A silver version that she treasured.

She wore it every day. And when she moved back to Italy, the necklace came with her. It had become something more than a piece of jewelry. It was a reminder of where she had been and the people who had shaped her along the way.

On her thirtieth birthday, Claudia decided to treat herself to our 14k rose gold version. It was her favorite metal and felt like a small celebration of everything she had grown into. She always imagined that one day she would fill it with the initials of her future children.

But life had other plans.

Six months ago, Claudia experienced a miscarriage. Her baby was due in April.

When she thought about what to add to the chain, she chose a diamond. April’s birthstone. A small way to carry her baby with her always. A quiet reminder of a love that is still very real.

“I never imagined filling my necklace this way,” she told us. “But in the end, it’s okay. It’s unique. It tells my story.”

And that’s what we always hope our pieces can be. A way to hold space for the moments that shape us. The ones that change everything. The ones we carry forever.
